FAQ

Common questions about reArray and web automation

What is reArray?

reArray is a web automation platform that runs browser workflows on the websites your team uses every day. You define the sites (platforms), build tasks that describe what to do, and managed agents execute them in real Chrome sessions — with live monitoring, video replay, and API triggers for your existing systems.

How is reArray different from RPA tools or scripts?

Traditional RPA often requires consultants, months of setup, and brittle desktop automation. One-off scripts are fast to write but break when sites change and are hard to monitor at scale. reArray gives you managed browser agents with versioning, live observability, self-healing logins, and an API — so your ops team can run automation without a dedicated engineering project.

What kinds of workflows can it automate?

Any repetitive work done in a web browser: logging into portals, submitting forms, pulling data from dashboards, uploading documents, checking statuses across multiple sites, and multi-step workflows that span several platforms. If your team does it in Chrome today, reArray can likely automate it.

Do I need engineers to build automations?

Not necessarily. The AI assistant lets you describe workflows in plain language and builds them with you interactively. Technical users can also author tasks directly in the DSL for more control. Most teams start with the assistant and refine with engineering support as needed.

How do you handle credentials and security?

Credentials are stored in an encrypted vault — not in scripts, spreadsheets, or environment variables. Each tenant's data is isolated, browser sessions run in isolated agent environments, and every execution is logged with full audit history. Production infrastructure is HIPAA-oriented on AWS with encryption and private networking.

What happens when a website changes or a login breaks?

reArray detects authentication failures and can automatically trigger re-login flows to repair broken sessions. When a site layout changes, you can update the task — with full versioning so you can see what changed and roll back if needed. Recorded videos and live monitoring make debugging straightforward.

Can it integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. The Integration API lets you trigger task executions from any system via REST. You can schedule runs, set priorities, and use idempotency keys for safe retries. Webhooks with HMAC signatures notify your applications when runs complete, fail, or need attention.

Is it suitable for regulated industries?

reArray is built with security and compliance in mind. Production runs on HIPAA-oriented AWS infrastructure with encryption, access controls, and audit-friendly execution history. While reArray provides HIPAA-ready infrastructure, your organization's compliance program remains your responsibility — we're happy to discuss your specific requirements during a demo.
